What You Get With Every Marine Survey

Detailed Inspections. Clear Findings. Informed Decisions.

When you hire First Look Marine Services, you're getting much more than a basic inspection checklist. Our marine surveys provide a detailed evaluation of the vessel's condition, with photographs placed alongside the findings they document. We identify potential safety concerns, maintenance needs, and cosmetic issues, organizing each finding by category and severity so you can quickly understand what matters most.

Our reports include documented observations, measurements, applicable marine standards, and estimated repair costs where appropriate. From hull moisture testing and structural inspections to electrical, plumbing, fuel, and safety systems, our goal is to give you a clear understanding of the vessel's condition and help you make informed decisions about your investment. Fair Market Value and Replacement Cost New opinions are included when applicable to the survey scope.

Every survey is personally conducted by Spencer Azar, an ACMS Certified Marine Surveyor and USCG-licensed 50 Ton Near Coastal Master with approximately 27 years of fire service experience, including 16 years as a fireboat captain. We serve buyers, sellers, and brokerages throughout Florida and the southeastern United States. We can also coordinate independent mechanical engine surveys and arrange vessel transportation by land or water, providing convenient support from the initial inspection through delivery.
